The port of Tanjung Manis, 30km from the sea at Rajang, Sarawak, housed a container terminal, deep sea fishery wharf and an oil, gas and chemical jetty. The jetty expansion project required a combination of composite Geotube® units and Sand Filled Mattresses to protect the riverbanks adjacent to the jetty from wave erosion, weathering and UV exposure.
