Golf course protected by Geotube® diversion dyke since 1998

TenCate Geotube® technology was used as a diversion dike to protect the local golf and country club in Manila against any back flow of polluted storm water.

Since 1999, the diversion dyke has provided a line of separation from the lake at Hole 13 and the polluted stream at the property's edge. During installation and construction, the engineered tubes were floated into position, then filled with sand. As the sand filled and provided ballast, the tubes then sank to the bottom of the lake. The finished Geotube®/Gabion structure performs well to this day.
